Laying on of hands

Laying on of hands is one of the oldest of all healing methods. References to it can be found in Stone Age cave drawings, in ancient Egyptian writings and even in early Christianity and ancient Greece, the laying on of hands was one of the recognized therapeutic methods. Laying on of hands is one of the most primitive methods and seems almost instinctively familiar to most people. Anyone who observes how mothers and fathers deal with small children who have injured themselves can see that they almost always automatically lay their hands on the injured area.
Energetic practitioners distinguish between very different forms of laying on of hands:
Some energy practitioners transfer their own energy and vitality to the patient when they lay hands on them. However, this method of laying on hands, which is often referred to as magnetic, depletes the energy of the energy practitioner. They must first recharge themselves with energy after the treatment if they do not want to risk complete exhaustion and the resulting illness.
However, most hand-layers see themselves merely as a channel for healing energies, which they pass on from a divine-creative source into the physical and/or subtle body of the patient. For this form of laying on of hands, the energy practitioner does not need to complete any complicated training. It is sufficient if he connects with the sick person spiritually, lovingly and with compassion, asks for the vital energy and then allows it to flow through his hands directly into the body or aura of the sick person, without wishing or wanting it.
For most people, it takes practice to create this state of inner emptiness from which the vital energy can flow completely pure. However, if the energy practitioner can achieve and maintain this state, the vital energy flows better from treatment to treatment. At the same time, the "unintentional" energy practitioner can also be sure that he is not violating the cosmic order with his actions. In this form, the treatment resembles a prayer that is supported by the laying on of hands. Whether the hands are placed directly on the body or only in the aura distinguishes the individual directions of the laying on of hands. For example, in Therapeutic Touch the hands remain in the aura, in Reiki they are placed in certain positions on the body and in the tradition of Harry Edwards they are placed directly on the body. Each of the different methods has its own advantages and many hand practitioners have mastered several methods, which they apply as required.
With some methods, interference fields in the body are specifically sought and the energy practitioner attempts to correct them. Thorough training is essential for such intentional forms of laying on of hands! The energy practitioner must acquire knowledge that enables him to handle the healing energies responsibly so that he does not cause any harm to the patient.
What all these therapeutic methods have in common, however, is that they are a spiritual path and that the spiritual development of the energy practitioner is linked to the regeneration potential. By examining oneself and dealing with spiritual questions as well as regular meditation, the energy practitioner is able to gain access to ever higher and finer energies and thus become an ever better channel. Laying on of hands is also not a method that is learned and then practiced statically. It is a path to oneself that enables the energy practitioner to help others and show them the way.

Spiritual recovery

In this therapy approach, the energy practitioner places his hands on the head, shoulders or a painful area of the person seeking well-being, or does not touch them at all. At the same time, he says a prayer - aloud or quietly. It supports empathy and the awareness of being a channel for God's help. In early Christianity, this was referred to as "pneuma" (Greek: spirit), the so-called breath of life or the Holy Spirit, which was conveyed in this way. This practice was used to pray for health and for blessings (e.g. Matth. 19:13 or Mk. 8:23). Jesus and his disciples often laid hands on those to be restored. Before doing so, however, Jesus asked the person to be healed: "Do you want to be healed?" (John 5:6). This question prompts the person seeking well-being to become aware of whether or that they really want to be healthy. This is the first prerequisite for a properly understood recovery. As long as the subconscious blocks the path to recovery for any reason, accepting help would be difficult. The person seeking well-being must make recovery his or her own and be able to connect it with his or her own powers of self-regeneration. In prayer, a person comes before the presence of God in the depths of their heart. If this is done with sincere devotion, a wonderful healing power emanates from prayer.
Spiritual healing is an ancient therapeutic tradition that is not limited to the Christian church alone and turns to a spiritual source, a God or spirit, who is supposed to play a part in the recovery of a sick person.
In Christian faith healing, the connection between the energy practitioner and God is the strongest of all health practices. In Matthew 9.22, Jesus is touched by a seeker of well-being only by his clothes and she is healed as a result. Jesus tells her: "Your faith has helped you." Anyone who has already experienced faith understands the power of faith as something very real in their relationship with God that makes the recovery process possible. This can lead to profound reversals of pathological processes. An energetic refers to "divine energy" that flows through him, but with this method the contact with God is particularly strong. He asks God to heal the person seeking well-being. A request for health can also be made from a distance.

Conferring warts

Conferring warts" is a centuries-old method of curing warts, girdle roses, lichen or allergies. Despite reluctance and disbelief, many people, purged by pain and after unnecessary medication or unsuccessful operations, have their warts discussed.

Again and again, astonished people report the sudden disappearance of their warts after years of pain and usually having undergone many different but unsuccessful therapies.

The origins of this ancient spiritual therapy method lie in the Middle Ages, which were steeped in magic. It was believed that demons and evil forces could only be driven away with the help of magical formulas. This was based on the idea that the illness or skin change was a personified power that could be persuaded to leave the patient's body. It was not uncommon for the timing of the ritual to depend on the lunar calendar and to be performed in an occult atmosphere.

There is not much trace of this today. Energetic practitioners, alternative practitioners, spiritual healers or others who offer the method do not use fixed rules, but it still works. During the treatment, the hands or other small objects are usually held over the warts and certain formulas are formulated in thought or mumbled to oneself.

The knowledge and ability to speak was and still is passed on from ancestors to children and grandchildren. Normally the formulas are not revealed.

However, here is a revealed saying from the Internet:
"Warts, you can't stand the chalks,
go away, go away, go away, don't ever hurt me!"

More important than the formulas, according to most modern practitioners, is the energy transferred through the ritual, which releases inner blockages and stimulates the patient's self-regeneration. This is strongly reminiscent of other spiritual therapy methods, such as the well-known Reiki.
