Animal communication/non-violent behavior training for humans and dogs

I have been a dog lover since my earliest childhood. Due to several painful experiences with my own dogs (shepherd dog, wolf-shepherd-collie mix, Slovensky-Cuvac, malamute, Siberian wolf, shepherd-dog-wolf hybrid, some of which were poisoned and killed in a bestial manner by unknown persons) and the noticeable prejudices of some people towards larger dogs, I have been involved in the non-violent training of dogs for over 40 years. Strengthened by my psychological studies and experiences in the field of horse training with the American Monty Roberts (The Horse Whisperer) and the work of the Englishwoman Jan Fennel and the Mexican Cesar Millan, I also try to apply the positive findings from their work intensively when dealing with dogs. Since then, I have also repeatedly tried to put the "negative image" of large dogs and fighting dogs in our society in the right light.

If both breeders and dog owners were more aware of dogs and their natural (pack) behavior, there would be far fewer misunderstandings, accidents and prejudices about dogs. The more recent work and findings of Jan Fennel confirm this.

I find it unfair how people sometimes mistreat an animal that they also call their best friend. I firmly believe that violence has no place in our relationship with animals. That is why I continue to focus on a world in which all species live together in peace.

As a descendant of the wolf, accustomed to the strict rules of the pack, the dog has remained true to itself and its instincts since the beginning of domestication tens of thousands of years ago. In the past, humans and dogs understood each other instinctively and perfectly. Even in their own packs, both humans and dogs were aware that their existence depended on the survival of their community. Everyone within the group had a task to fulfill and obeyed. It was only natural that the same rules applied to the extended pack (humans and dogs). So while the humans concentrated on tasks such as collecting firewood and berries, maintaining the dwellings and preparing food, the dogs' main task was to go out with the hunters and serve as their nose, eyes and ears. They also had a similar role within the camp, where they formed the first line of defense by warning the people of approaching attackers and warding them off. In the centuries that have passed since then, however, the bond has slowly broken. In the last few centuries, since man has become the dominant power on this earth, he has molded the dog - and many other animals - exclusively to the demands of his society. The demands that humans now place on dogs are often paradoxical and unnatural. Their degradation to lap animals, accessories and the result of crazy breeding has caused a lot of misunderstandings in the relationship with humans.

I am not interested in breaking the will of the animals by force, but in working with them with a view to their instincts and role behavior. It is a tragic irony that of the approximately 1.5 million species on our planet, ours, which is blessed with the intelligence to recognize the beauty of others, is unable to respect dogs for who they are. As a result, the extraordinary understanding that used to exist between us and our former best (four-legged) friends has almost completely disappeared. So it's no wonder that there are more problems with dogs today than ever before!

Of course, many people lead perfectly happy lives with their dogs. The age-old bond lives on somewhere deep inside us. The fact is, however, that the people who live in harmony with their dogs today have come this far by happy accident rather than by knowledge. Our awareness of the instinctive, silent language we share with our dogs has been lost. If we can understand our dogs again, communicate with them in a way they can understand, they will definitely reward us with cooperation, loyalty and love.

We now have many examples of "problem dogs", biters, barkers, beasts that chase cyclists, letter carriers and joggers, almost all of whom have been successfully treated.

However, it seems important to me to point out that the method I practise cannot eliminate a dog's tendency towards aggression. Certain breeds have been specially bred to be fighting dogs and our recommendations will never be able to change their potentially wild nature. What this method can do, however, is to enable people to deal with their dogs in such a way that their aggressive instincts are never aroused. Great care should be taken when working with such dogs!

I am happy to provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills for non-violent dog training/dog education, both for puppies and adult dogs!

I believe that behavioral training can only be truly effective if it takes place in your dog's familiar environment, his home. Only there will he behave naturally, with all his strengths and "weaknesses/flaws" - and only there will it be possible to train his behavior effectively. For this reason, I do not have a training place etc., but I always come to you and your dog at home! Only there can we really observe your dog's behavior and your own behavior towards your dog and then give you the appropriate effective help and advice!

Animal communication

Mental contact and attunement on the emotional level of the animal. A photo and the name/date of birth of the animal are required. The owner's questions and the animal's answers are recorded in a conversation protocol. Communication only takes place if the animal is willing to talk, because animals also have a right to their free will and our respect!
